I modified the
85 FJ600 fairing to work on the radian. Lots of
cutting involved, but it fits well now. The
windscreen was supposed to be plexiglass, but I
broke the piece I had so I made one from aluminum
until I can either find a cheap replacement
windscreen or make another plexiglass one. The
saddlebags are 3/8 plywood and large enough to fit a
full face helmet in them. The bike is a 90 model
with 30,000 miles. I added the acerbis barkbusters
to help cut the cold air down this winter and I have
some lower air deflectors in the works.
The bike is ridden about 50 miles a day for
commuting and is typically grungy.
