Update -
11/06/09 - I thought I was through with my Radian, but I
finally decided to do a fender chop. I bought a
spare fender and whacked it. The license plate
light was relocated to the reflector wedge to keep it
legal. With a cutting disc and rotary tool and
drill, it's not a difficult job. Anyway, here it
is... (first set)
Update - 05/11/10 -
Maybe I'm a traitor ;-) but I still
have the Radian and will never sell or trade it. Here are some pictures of
my new toy. Scroll down to the bottom for a few pictures...
Update - 05/31/10 - More photos
of the 919, after a lot of detailing... way down at the bottom of the page...
Update - 06/16/11 - 1 photo of
the 919 sans windscreen. The photo was taken with a phone, so the quality
isn't superb.
Update - 05/30/2009 - This is
my Radian. It has been quite a while since I cleaned and shined up the
Radian and taken photos, so I figured it was time. There aren't a lot of
changes since the last photos (3 & 1/2 years ago). There are, however a
few new parts and a few polished and painted parts. There won't be any
more modifications. It will just be maintained and ridden :-) The
new photos are the top group, and also HERE
as a downloadable zipped archive. Everything further down is the older
stuff.
This is
my Radian. The
first group are pictures taken at various times.
Some show the older stock seat and painted grab bar.
Others show the newer re-done Corbin seat and powder
coated glossy black grab bar.
The
second group (bottom group) were all taken 12/26/05. They
show all mods and improvements to date, which include
new stock shocks and fork tubes, Jet-Hot ceramic coated
Kerker exhaust, superbike bars, gel grips, black
aluminum bar ends, chrome plated triple clamp and
headlight assembly, 3 stage paint, with custom
reflective decals between the first and second stage,
reshaped and upholstered Corbin seat, black glossy
powder coated grab bar, and short stalk turn signals.
The only performance mods are the Kerker 4 into 1
exhaust, a Dynojet jet kit, a K&N air filter, and a
modified airbox. For the record, my name is
Russell, if you didn't already know it.
Two weeks ago today, (04/27/10) I
got a killer deal on a 2002 Honda 919. Here are a few
pictures...
Ok, so I did a lot of cleaning, scrubbing, buffing, polishing, etc.
I also replaced the grips and bar ends and tidied up the license
plate mount. Here are a few pictures...
The photos below were taken 09/06/2010. The tank now dons a
Bagster tank protector and the meter visor (windscreen) is painted
black on the back side.
